We are on a different program than most clothing labels, but like almost everyone our inspiration is wide spread and mostly comes from the amazing people we've met and become friends with over the years. One such person is Ken Diamond who on top of being a really nice guy, also hand-produces some amazing leather goods.

I first discovered Ken Diamond and his wares a couple years back when in need of a laptop bag. I ventured to his Gastown studio which was an ode to "the way things used to be made", where Ken measured up my laptop, I picked my leather and we chatted about a few particulars. A month later, I picked up my hand-crafted leather bag. I was so impressed with the traditional craftsmanship that I decided to get sized up and place an order for his moccasins; the best thing I've ever done for my feet and the beginning of my affinity for KD's products.

Now the owner of a few pairs of moccasins and a slew of other items, I simply can't get enough of the Ken Diamond brand. Perhaps it's the simplicity and timelessness or maybe it's the hand-crafted process that attracts me. Either way, Ken's got one life-long fan.

Our No.2 Trench Coat is near complete and will go on sale in early January 2011. This piece has been a long time in development but we're all about making sure things are done right, even if it means it takes more time.
